Russian news! Kia plans to sell in Russia in 2008 100 thousand cars

South-Korean motor-car manufacturer Kia Motors Corp. plans to increase in 2008 a sales volume in Russia by 27 % up to 100 thousand cars, informs Bloomberg.
In 2007 the company realized in our country 78 thousand 616 cars. To reach so impressing growth Kia counts owing to a conclusion to the Russian market of new models, in particular, an easy off-road car (SUV) Mohave and new model of a crossover. Kia Motors is the second-largest South-Korean motor-car manufacturer. The leader of a South-Korean car industry - company Hyundai Motor Co. - 38,6 % of actions of the company own. Kia lets out cars under Carens, Carnival, Sportage, Sorento, Picanto, Rio, Cerato, Magentis, Optima, Opirus and Amanti. Pure losses of the company in I quarter 2008 have made 24,8 billion ($25 million), incomes have decreased on 3,4 % up to 3,72 bln. ($3,7 billion).
